Favorites:Best Products Of 2017 |Makeup, Perfumes, Manicure| (EN)

Hello everyone

Today’s post is overview on the best products I’ve found in 2017 and highly impressed me in the categories makeup, perfumes and manicure. I’m starting off with:

Makeup:

-       Face:

Foundation Bourjois Air Mat #03 Beige Clair

In 2017 I’ve used 5 different foundations but Air Mat is my favourite from all. It has soft mousse formula, really nice and soft matte finish, natural finish and high longevity and in the really cold weather I don’t even need powder to set it. Full review on it here

Bourjois Loose Powder #01 Peach

This is the only powder I’ve used in this year – amount of product is huge and although I do my makeup nearly every day I still have some amount left, keeping in mind I’m using it for more than 9 months. It has incredibly soft, fine and airy consistency and it’s perfect for setting the makeup, due to its natural finish – no matter what amount of product I put on it never turns out looking cakey. Full review on it here.

Milani Baked Blush Berry Amore

I fell inlove with this blush as soon as I saw it and I’m using it in 90% of the time whenever I’m doing my makeup ever since I got it. It’s such a pretty golden orangy shade with red undertone that is perfect for combining with my brown lipsticks. Full review on it here.

Miss Sporty Mission Contour Palette

I’ve wrote about this pallete and especially for the contouring shade in the post about my everyday makeup essentials for autumn 2017 (here). I still don’t use the highlighting shade because isn’t suitable for my skin shade, but the contouring shade is a must have product in my makeup routine I like contouring my cheekbones, temples, chin, nose, crease and the zone underneath my lower lip. Great product!

Highlighter NYX Wanderlust Transylvania

I’ve wrote a lot about this single eyeshadow in champagne shade which showed me the magic of highlighting :D I almost used up Transylvania so I’m looking for a dupe or similar shade. Absolute favorite of mine and you can read a full review on it here.

Green corrector for covering redness’s Catrice Camouflage Concealer

You might have noticed that I don’t write about concealers in my blog: I’m lucky girl that never ever has dark under eye circles no matter what and the only concealer I use is anti-rednesses: green concealer that covers any red spots such as pimples, spots or rednesses around my nose. I apply the green concealer with flat concealer brush on bare skin, I smudge it a bit and then I put my foundation on top. Applied that way green concealer neutralizes rednesses and they don’t pick thru underneath the foundation. Catrice Camouflage Concealer has nice creamy consistency, good longevity on my oily skin, bright green color and it’s easy to blend into the skin – great product.

-         Eyes:

Single eyeshadow NYX Wanderlust in the shades Stockholm, Rome и Cannes

From 12th shades in the advent calendar NYX Wanderlust these 3 are my favorite and most used ones (beside Transylvania which I use as highlighter).

Stockholm is my most favorite of all – dark, intense and deep red with matte finish, which I adore wearing as eyeliner and in deep red smokey eyes. Red shades make my dark green eyes pop and I simply adore wearing them Full review on it here.

Rome is also a reddish shade but is copper orangy shade with red undertone which also looks amazing on green eyes. Обичам да го нося като очна линия и в опушен грим ♥ Full review on it here.

Cannes is beautiful emerald green with shimmer finish In the spring and summer I’ve worn Cannes a lot as an eyeliner and as green smokey eyes. Makeup post about Green Smokey Eyes is here and full review on the eyeshadow here.

Essence Long Lasting eyeliner in the shade Berry Fantastic

Again product on the red side ♥ – it’s time to write review on it because it’s a must product for people that enjoy reddish makeup. Right as I saw it I immediately bought it because I’ve been searching for reddish eyeliner for so long, but most of the reddish eyeliners on the market tend to be either too pink, purple or eggplant but never pure dark red shade. Berry Fantastic’s shade is identical to the shade of Stockholm and I’m wearing both products together – I apply the eyeliner and then set it with the eyeshadow on top.

-         Lips:

Alert: nude lipsticks only :))

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in the shade Rome, Stockholm, Cannes

Rome is my favorite lipstick for 2017 and I just can’t get enough of it Rome is cool toned intense brown with red undertone which suits me a lot and I really like how it looks on my complexion. I have some product left on my mini sized bottle and I’ll buy the regular size as soon as I ran out of it because I’m simply inlove with it and I want it in my makeup collection forever. Full review on it here.

Stockholm is nice peachy nude shade that is perfect for combining with basically any type of makeup. I’ve worn it a lot in the spring and in month or two I’ll add it to my everyday makeup essentials again. Full review on it here.

Cannes is probably the most universal lipstick I own – pink nude with terracotta undertone that suits basically any woman. I love wearing it with simple eye makeup – it gives me that girly vibe. Full review on it here.

Rimmel Stay Matte Lip Colour in the shade Pink Blink

Pink Blink is quite similar but not identical to Cannes – Pink Blink is a bit darker and more peachy but still pink toned. I’ve received a lot of compliments and questions about this lipstick while wearing it because the shade and especially the finish definitely impresses people: the mattes matte effect. Full review on it here.

Max Factor Lipfinity Longlasting Lip Colour in the shade Spicy

My second most favorite lipstick of 2017 – quite similar yet not identical to Rome: Spicy is darker, redder and it has more of a vinyl than matte finish. Spicy is The Lipstick of Fall 2017 and I also want it all the time from now on in my makeup collection, because I love it. Full review on it here.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in the shade Cool Brown

I haven’t done review on Cool Brown yet but it’s on my To-Do List – this lipstick is so good.  I’ve wrote about it in the post about my Everyday Makeup Essentials for Summer 2017 here. The shade is classic light brown or even dark beige with cool undertone, nice and soft matte finish, it does not dry out my lips, it has good longevity and it’s extremely comfy to wear – you just can’t feel it on the lips when applied. The shade Cool Brown is quite universal and easy to combine with any makeup – whenever I can’t decide which lipstick to pick I use either this or the lip gloss below.

S-he Cosmetics Nude Lip Gloss

Another product without review on the blog – I have to write about it for real, because this lip gloss is a must for me. In the spring recently I wanted to wear lip gloss and after I visited the drugstore and Sephora a couple of times I understand that classic lip gloss is impossible to buy at this moment – somehow they disappeared. All brands are launching liquid matte/metallic lipsticks and lip glosses and no one launches normal semi clear lip glosses with no glitter or so on in it. In April DM’s brand She Cosmetics launched 2 collections of lip glosses and I bought the lightest one from the collection Nude right as I saw it. The lip gloss is super nice, it’s in pale nude shade a-la Kim Kardashian, it’s normaly sticky and it has good longevity as well. Well, it smells like vanilla (Yuck!) but at least I can’t feel it once after application. I like it so much that when I thought I’ve lost it somewhere (I’ve moved 4 times this year – new record!) I spent like 1 week without it and I went to buy another one. 2 weeks later I found the lost one so now I have 2 identical lip glosses – one is always in my bag and the other one is on my vanity.

Perfumes:

In 2017 I’ve tried and tested so many perfumes but I didn’t find a single one to fell in love with and to add into my collection except one (Lately new launched perfumes are so sickly sweet and sugary that I simply can’t stand them. Disappointing though)

Roberto Cavalli Paradiso Assoluto EDP

Review on it will be up for sure in the near future – I keep it in my vanity because the winter doesn’t suit Paradiso Assoluto on my opinion: I like it in cool/hot and humid, but not in cold weather because it’s such a creamy, soft, feminine and spring-summery and even beachy scent.  Paradiso Assoluto it’s combination of jasmine, white flowers and wood notes ♥. More about it – in March!

Manicure:

In 2017 my manicure was quite boring and simple – I can definitely tell that I’ve reached for 2 nail polishes (with small exceptions) which is surprisingly due to the fact how many nail polishes I own and the countless amounts of pinned manicures on my phone. Such a shame but it’s fact that I even own some new polishes that remain untouched. Hopefully in 2018 I’ll do more manicure related posts.

Flormar Full Color Funky Magenta

This is the nail polish for summer 2017 – I bought it at the beginning of june to match my summer bag and I wore it nonstop until the end of September. Now ran out of it but I’ll buy it again for sure. Review + swatches you here.

Essence The Gel Nail Polish 98 Pure Beauty

During the fall & winter I hadn’t use another nail polish beside Essence The Gel Nail Polish 98 Pure Beautybeige is my all-time favorite color when it comes to clothes and manicure as well. I own a couple of nude nail polishes but most of them are jelly – they require at least 3 coats to look opaque that pisses me off.  Pure Beauty covers at one coat but I always apply 2, it has cream finish and it dries fast. The shade is powder beige with rose undertone – beautiful ♥ I love pairing Pure Beauty with some of the 2 nail polishes below as accent on the middle & ring finger – my favorite manicure style.

Essence The Gel Nail Polish 44 On Air

I love golden accents in the manicure (I know that for a lot of people golden nails too much on so many levels :D) but I adore gold and I’m not ashamed to show it. It’s not pure golden, it’s more of a platinum-golden shade that makes it suitable for any skin tone – depending on the skin undertone it’ll look more golden or more platinum. It has full opacity on 2 coats, it’s super long lasting and it looks beautiful – on manicure and on pedicure as well, especially at this season is super festive.  Review on it here.

Miss Sporty Crazy Glitter Top Coat in the shade 010 The Show Must Glow On

This top coat is my top nail polish for 2017 no matter I bought it in November. I’ve been searching for so long for top coat with scale effect (known also as shattered glass effect) but I couldn’t find a proper one for my liking – I wanted to be with fine scale flakes, not with big scale chunks. The Show Must Glow On could be applied on 1 coat for soft effect and for more visible and eye catching look – on 2. It dries quickly, it’s sleek when applied and it is so beautiful – I received so many compliments on my manicure while wearing it (also I bought the blue scale 020 Blue My Mind but I haven’t try it yet – soon). Favorite!

These were my top products for 2017. Which are yours?
