Review:Catrice Nude Illusion Loose Matt Powder #Transparent (EN)

As a woman with oily, sometimes super oily skin mattifying powder is a must-have for me, if I want to look at least fine :D. To be honest I have tried so many powders through my makeup journey, almost all of them didn’t mattifyied my skin for more than 2-3 hours and I’ve been pleased with just 1-2. Even the most popular mattifying powder Stay matte mattifyes my oily skin for just 2 hours! I’m always looking for new powder and I never repurchase, only MaxFactor’s Crème Puff I’ve bought 2 or 3 times, but it is super opaque and thick, it mattifyies my skin really well but lately I want leightweight products on my skin so I was looking for a new and lightweight powder. Usually loose powders are finer compared to the baked powders, look more natural when applied and I personally really like them. After I finished Catrice’s compact transparent waterproof powder Prime & Fine I was in doubt to buy it again, since I run out of it super quickly and that’s a cons for me but then I saw that Catrice’s newest powder Nude Illusion is available in Lilly Drogerie and I decided to give it a chance.





Nude Illusion powder it’s Catrice’s newest powder and it’s available only in one shade – white (transparent), but when applied on the skin it’s clear. I have medium dark skin with noticeable yellow undertone but this powder doesn’t look white on me. The box contains 11gr. of powder, the powder is loose (it’s not pressed or baked). Powder comes in a little plastic box, which is quite stabile and comfy for travelling (I’ve travelled with this powder in my bag nearly 1000km). I decied to add little powder puff that fits perfectly in the box to make sure the powder stays in place. I apply the powder as I put some into the cap of the powder and then I put my powder brush and apply it on my face. Nude Illusion powder looks invisible on my skin, it doesn’t exaggerate my pores and it mattifyes my skin for really long time – over 6-7 hours even in hot and humid weather, then I start to get oily. I couldn’t find the ingredients of the powder on the packaging, which is strange?!,  I suspect that this powder is so mattifying because of the ingridient alluminium, which isn’t great for your skin as far as I know (please, if someone is into chemistry, please leave a comment about the alluminium & it’s effect on the skin). I have really sensitive skin, I often tend to have allergic reactions but I use this powder over 3 months now and I didn’t get any irritations, pimples or discomfort – I mean my skin works great with this powder, even if there’s alluminium in it.






I wanna make quick comparison between the compact transparent waterproof  Prime & Fine powder and the loose transparent powder Nude Illusion. On my skin the waterproof Prime & Fine mattifyies for 4 hours, then I got oily, also I got caked on the one side, something I experienced for the first time. As I mention I run out of it super quickly (2 months) but the packaging is super nice and comfy to carry in your purse with big mirror, it’s waterproof and it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin as well. If you have normal/combination skin or even normal oily skin you might like this one. I use it during the winter when my skin tends to be just oily and even normal sometimes and my skin felt good with it. Nude Illusion mattifyes for longer time, looks more invisible when applied and I would use it for more than 4 months, but is loose and not comfort to carry in your purse. I recommend this one if you’re having oily or super oily skin, for combination or oily this might be drying.

I am pleased with the quality of this powder and it would be my choice for the summer – it mattifyes for long time, it looks natural, it didn’t makes my pore bigger or more visible and it doesn’t add any color to my face. I would repurchase it! GOSH’s loose’s powder is also on my wishlist and maybe I’ll buy it when I run out of this so I can make comparison between them two.

Review:Catrice Nude Illusion Loose Matt Powder #Transparent (BG)

Като жена с мазна, дори на моменти много мазна кожа, матиращата пудра е абсолютно задължителна за мен, ако искам да изглеждам прилично :D. 
В интерес на истината, пудрите успели да се справят с мазната ми кожа са много малко, обикновено се справят до към 3-тия час и изискват подновяване, даже и прехвалената Stay Matte изкарваше 2 часа при мен. Постоянно съм в търсене на нова пудра, рядко повтарям покупка, единствено MaxFactor Creme Puff съм я взимала 2-3 пъти, но тя е доста покривна и плътна, матира чудесно,  но в последните месеци искам минимално продукти върху лицето си, затова към момента не ме устройва, търся нещо по-леко. Писала съм подробно за нея тук: http://preslavasbeautydiary.blogspot.bg/2015/07/revieweveryday-makeup-essentials-summer.html. Принципно свободните/насипни пудри за по-фино смлени от печените, стоят по-естествено нанесени върху лицето (стига да не bake-вате много) и лично аз ги харесвам за моята кожа. След като привърших прозрачната водоустойчивата компактна пудра на Catrice Prime & Fine и се колебаех дали да не я повторя, въпреки че свърши супер бързо, видях че тъкмо са заредили в дрогерии Lilly нова, свободна пудра Nude Illusion и тъй като останах сравнително доволна от водоустойчивата, реших да й дам шанс.






Пудрата е съвсем нова в асортимента на марката, предлага се в един цвят – бял, но нанесена върху лицето стои прозрачно. Аз имам среднотъмна кожа с много изразен жълт подтон, но не изсветлява по никакъв начин лицето ми. Количеството е 11гр., самата пудра е свободна, т.е. не е пресована или печена, което предполага малко повече разпрашаване при нанасяне. Кутийката е стабила и се затваря плътно, пътува с мен близо 1000км. Без инциденти. Лично аз добавих 1 пухче за пудра, за да не се разсипва излишно, иначе би се разхвърчала из цялото капаче. Пудрата нанасям като изсипя нужното количество върху капачето й и нанасям с пухкава четка за пудра. Стои незабележимо върху лицето, не подчертава пори и матира дълготрайно – без проблем изкарвам над 6-7 часа дори в горещо време, след което започва неизбежното омазняване. За съжаление не намирам състава на пудрата обозначен върху опаковката, което леко ме озадачава (?!),  подозирам, че силният матиращ ефект се дължи на алуминий, съставка, която не е особено полезна за кожата, доколкото съм запозната (ако има някой по-запознат с химията, моля да се включи с мнение), но пък от друга страна аз имам много чувствителна кожа, която често прави алергични реакции, и след близо 3-месечна употреба на пудрата не съм усетила дискомфорт, сърбеж, обрив и т.н., така че мога да кажа, че моята кожа се сработва с пудрата, дори и да има алуминий в състава.






Ще направя бързо сравнение между компактната прозрачна водоустойчива Prime & Fine пудра и свободната прозрачна пудра Nude Illusion. Върху моята кожа водоустойчива Prime & Fine матираше за около 4 часа, след което „лъсвах” и не знам как постоянно ми се образуваше спечен пласт от едната страна, което досега не ми се беше случвало, свърши много бързо (няма и 2 месеца), но пък опаковката е супер удобна за разнасяне в чантата, голям плюс е и огледалото, а и алергични реакции, зачервявания, обриви не са ми се появявали, и наистина е водоустойчива. Ако имате нормална/комбинирана или дори нормално мазна кожа, тази пудра вероятно ще ви допадне. Ползвах я през зимата, когато кожата ми е просто мазна, а в големите студове стига и до комбинирана и ми беше добре с нея. Nude Illusion матира по-дълготрайно, стои по-незабележимо и ще ми стигне за близо 4 месеца редовна употреба, но пък е свободна и не особено удобна за подновяване навън. Нея препоръчвам за много мазна и мазна кожа, за комбинирана и нормална може да бъде изсушаваща.

Доволна съм от качествата на пудрата и тя ще бъде моят избор за лятото – матира дълготрайно, стои естествено, не подчертава порите ми, не придава допълнителен цвят върху лицето ми и бих повторила покупката. Набелязала съм свободната пудра на GOSH за тест и вероятно ще направя сравнение между нея и Nude Illusion , когато я взема.

NOTD:Neon Pink & Minnie Mouse (EN)








Hello everyone ♥

A few months ago a dear friend gave me as gift cute nail stickers with Minnie & Mickey Mouse and I patiently wait for the summer to try them:))






I painted all of my finger except for my ring & pinkies with neon pink nail polish – Catherine Arley #702, I have full review about it here: http://preslavasbeautydiary.blogspot.bg/2015/06/notdneon-pink-flowers-catherine-arley_9.html. On my ring & pinkies I applied 2 coats of white nail polish (Classics #04). Then I placed the Minnie Mouse sticker on my ring finger and add thick coat of top coat to make it smooth. On my pinkies I made some polka dots using dotting tool in the same neon pink shade. Super cute, summer and effortless manicure :)).
